PURE MAGIC

Postby BobbyinTN » Sat Jun 28, 2008 11:02 pm

This is one of my favorite songs. I am definitely a fan of the new stuff and REVELATION blows me away, but FUCKIN'-A this is incredible.

I love hearing Neal sing.

Neal has a halfway decent voice. Journey were a lot more diverse before Jon Cain came in. As great as they still were after JC joined, they found a certain formula and now rarely deviate from it. Great clip and thanks for that.

That's got to be a tough song to pull off live.

Agreed on most counts, but there has still been a fairly diverse set of songs on most Cain-era albums. More diverse than, say, an Evolution.

Take Frontiers for example. No two of those songs sound the same... and listen to TBF. What other album can contain One More, Baby I'm Leavin' You, Colors of the Spirit, Castles Burning, When You Love a Woman, and If He Should Break Your Heart.... and STILL sound Journeyish? ;)

That song is incredible..I listen to it all the time! Why does it sound like the production on the older stuff sound better than the new..I'm puzzled..
