Make my live in girlfriend pay for her own ??? Yeah, she would love that.. Can someone tell me what to expect. I have no idea what is fair and what is a rip. I would rather get them sooner than later because I will forget...

If you don't mind missing (part of) the front act, how good a deal can you usually get from scalpers?

Hate to state the obvious, but since you don't seem to know where to look, http://www.ticketmaster.com/ is your friend. You can see how much tickets are at your local venue.

I paid $45.00 for an uncovered seat. $59 after Ticketbastard surcharges. It's near the back of the seated section at the amphitheater in Dallas. The lawn section is $24 I think.

Try Craigslist for the cities you are interested in. Folks are often looking to unload tickets esp. as show date gets closer.

I paid $75 after fees for one seat for Noblesville for the back half of the pavilion, dead center. (Section F if you're familiar with the amphitheatre.) I find that very reasonable for three bands and four hours of music.

$268 for me and Tito. Guaranteed in rows 3-13, though. Purchased them through the Heart fan club since Journey's fan club is too expensive.

Is that Tinley Park? That's a pretty solid deal. I'm sitting in 205 for that show.

riverbend in cincy was offering side/obstructed view in the pavillion for around 35.00 if you had a citi bank credit card.
i refuse to pay over 100.00 for a non reunion show
so just pick up a lawn seat, meet me and spend some of the left over money on a few beers and enjoy the sights

I have tickets for that show, but I'm probably going to sell them. I'm doing the Walter Payton cancer run the next morning. I don't think I can run 10 miles after getting home at 1 or 2 am the night before.

Row/Prices? My friend asked me if we could go the other day, as I hadn't planned on going until then. I'd be glad to talk to you about buying them. :)

Yeah, it's in Tinley. The Heart fan club charges you a one-time $30 membership fee. You are then able to purchase tix in a guaranteed section for face value + $9. The perks are guaranteed good seats, no fees or taxes, and no ridiculous ticketmaster charges. You actually get the tickets cheaper throught the Heart fanclub as $9 is far less than the ticketsnatchster fees and taxes. Journey's fanclub is a complete rip off and charges WAY too much. I'll essentially be sitting a row or two behind people that paid twice as much as I did...if not more. Nice "fanclub," Journey.

$134 each you cheap fucker. Again, the face value of the tickets was $125. My guess is that the breakdown is $80 for Journey, $40 for Heart and $5 for Cheap Trick.
