It's a deal... you're lucky I've let go of my Spurrier loathing. About 8 years ago I wished plagues upon him. Mostly because his face looks like an old boot.![]()
It does but the man is a legend. He will always be the King Gator.

That was the kindest one I could post...Might have to dig a few more out as the season gets closer...

No kidding. Gino Torretta was the standout NFL QB.

I thought he was from Miami? BTW, I had Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills tell me to "cut that shit out" on the sidelines of the 1988 Orange Bowl (Miami vs. Oklahoma). Several of my friends and I were giving crap to the Hurricanes as they were warming up.
In hindsight, probably not the best idea as Miami was pretty much a bunch of great players, but thugs. And in the old Orange Bowl, not a really safe part of Miami.

Yeah, Torreta was a damn Hurricane. I think he was referring to QBs from the state of Florida....And dont forget-Rex Grossman has had a decent NFL career and started a Super Bowl, and yes he is Gator alumni. Doug Johnson is still in the NFL as a backup QB. And c'mon-like Tebow or hate him he will be a first round if not the first pick in the draft.

Hey Gator...I am a huge Bears fan...Rex is on thin ice with Bears fans...I can't believe the Bears gave him an extension. Probably the only reason is because the Bears were able to get the Superbowl...but really lets be honest..it was the defense that carried them there. Last year, I watched almost every Bears game...when Rex was not starting, the cameras would pan to him on the sideline and he would be goofing off not even paying attention to the game at hand.
Rex has proved he has poor decision making in the pocket, too many turn overs, and way too many interceptions, and the guy is too dam short..
And Rex having a decent career...far from it, ya he made it to the Superbowl, but he has been injury prone and lost he starting job several times. I will still root for Rex only because he is a Bear, but the Bears need someone better.

There was a lot of press last year about how hard Rex worked in the off season to become better....but last season was a miserable one for the Bears all together.
I know Rex has been working hard again, I just hope it pays off for the Bears.
