"Fuck him".
Neal said it loud and clear... I am under the impression that at least Neal feels that Steve held them back for less than honorable reasons hence he comments about Steve getting paid despite the fact he is not there. I think Neal ending that interview with hardy "Fuck him" was his way of saying "free at last, thank god almighty we are free at last !
I would be willing to bet that Steve is not happy about their "new lease on life". He is such a drama queen as anyone can plainly see from his interviews so I am sure he is feeling a little left out.. Journey was what took him off of the turkey farm. I am positive he still has an emotional attachment to that and to see them flying high again without him must sting a bit. People that were not fans before are seeing them as a new band. They see Arnel and accept him as "the voice" because for the new generation of fans he is. Perry, oh that was guy from the 80's.. The only thing stronger that Perry in this whole can of worms are the songs. They will never erase Perry from our minds however Joe Bob consumer the casual fan doesnt give a shit... The re-recording of the GH as more than a show off Arnel project. I think it was an attempt to get Arnels voice heard over Perry's.. To push Perry aside in otherwords.

It's not working.
It won't ever work.

Agreed.

I don't ever recall Steve ever saying anything negative about any of members of Journey or management. If there is something out there please post a link, as I would like to read it.

Maybe I am missing something, but Journey is flying high again?
I have yet to hear a single song from Revelation on the radio yet. Aside from a brief promotional campaign that saw an appearance on Ellen and that CBS Sunday morning show, I don’t know that the public has any clue who Arnel is.
I don’t see how this could be construed as a success story. Maybe from the few people on this board, but that’s about it.
