Kerrang back then was a great mag.
Such a pity grunge came along a few years later and killed everything in one foul swoop.

StreetTalk =- Journey II. SP put the band on hiatus so he could do his solo album and basically dump the rest of the band.

Having said that.....didn't Neal sing a Schon and Hammer song on Journey's Frontiers tour? Shows that Schon and Hammer material was hardly the big departure many fans make it out to be....

I wish I had kept my copies. If you do go looking through those boxes can you keep an eye out for a photo of a semi naked girl wrapped around Don Dokkens waist. I'm sure it was in black and white and was in the news section. I was telling Rip about it. While you're at it look out for a picture of Neal sitting on a skateboard.
