Fuck man he is sounding strong as hell on Ask the Lonley. Very hard to sing. I have tried to sing that one and man the sustained power needed for the song is just beyond my reach.

Deen did be good to yourself ? Why ? I hope not. I like him singing backups but damnit let the lead singer sing. Arnel is sounding strong but maybe they are playing is safe and giving him breaks..

I've listened to a few Youtube clips. Can't argue with them. They sound awesome. Nice to have the vocals mixed out front for a change.

Deen on BGTY is a good idea.
Augeri always botched it, and the band dropped it from the setlist relatively early with Jeff.
Deen might have what it takes tho.

Thanks, Rhi; your turn coming soon in Big D...

I was thinking Jeff Foxworthy on JC's sartorial choice for the kick off show. WTF?!?

I want to take him shopping.

Or we could nominate him for "What Not to Wear" rock n roll edition. Clinton and Stacy would fry him...

Heart & CT set lists (thanks to Dan on the offical site):

Here are the opening night set lists for Cheap Trick and Heart pulled from fans at the bands' websites.

Cheap Trick

1. Hello There
2. C'mon C'mon
3. California Man
4. If You Want My Love
5. She's Tight
6. I Can't Take It
7. I Want You To Want Me
8. The Flame

2. Kick It Out
3. Straight On
4. Dog & Butterfly
5. Magic Man
6. These Dreams
7. Alone
8. Love Reign O'er Me (The Who)
9. Barracuda
10. Going To California (Led Zeppelin)
11. Crazy On You

Ooh yay! Great idea! I think for the hair and make-up portion they should switch him for Deen. Poor boy needs some gel, bad.

Yes, I will see you and Debster in the big D! Can't wait! Just a couple of weeks! 8)

Cain's wardrobe

Postby FishMan-JourneyFan » Fri Jul 11, 2008 12:35 pm

In the Revelation DVD Cain's wearing some slacks that look like they're from Sears and are too tight.

Cheap Trick plays The Flame most of the time and especially on package tours. On shows where they headline in theaters and clubs they drop it occassionally because the die hards can take it or leave it. Anyone who thought it wouldn't be played on this tour is clueless. I love Trick!

Where Did I lose your love is better on the live set. Arnel brings it up a notch at the last MUCH better than the CD version. More FEEL!
