Thanks, Tammy. I have no idea what that is Neal was playing; strictly a music consumer here. Jam lead in to Wheel in the Sky. If it was a sample of a real song, I didn't recognize it.

No "tools" on the Ross pic. The guys except for Arnel looked like the altitude might have been getting to them a bit.

DrFU wrote:Heart & CT set lists (thanks to Dan on the offical site):

Here are the opening night set lists for Cheap Trick and Heart pulled from fans at the bands' websites.

Cheap Trick

1. Hello There
2. C'mon C'mon
3. California Man
4. If You Want My Love
5. She's Tight
6. I Can't Take It
7. I Want You To Want Me
8. The Flame
9. Dream Police
10. Surrender
11. Good Night

The casual fan will recognize the majority of the set list. "California Man" is a great cover from their early days, while "C'mon, "C'mon" is from their great 2006 record called "Rockford."

Heart

1. Wild Child
2. Kick It Out
3. Straight On
4. Dog & Butterfly
5. Magic Man
6. These Dreams
7. Alone
8. Love Reign O'er Me (The Who)
9. Barracuda
10. Going To California (Led Zeppelin)
11. Crazy On You

Why is Heart doing The Who?? They have enough great songs.
I'm bummed that CT didn't do anything from Rockford. That's a great record.

I don't even think Neal would bang Ann Wilson these days.

Did a woman of size do you bad wrong somewhere in a past life? :D

So she's not a Victoria's Secret model; her voice is simply astonishing; they put on a GREAT show.

Actually, I like slightly bigger women, but she's completely let herself go. She should try the "scarf and barf" method of losing weight.

There are more Heart songs I wanted to hear, but their version of Let Love Reign O'er Me kicks ass. Ann's power on the L OOOO VE, Debbie Shair's keyboards ... yeah, seriously impressive.

I'm going to 10 fucking shows this summer and I BETTER hear "Never." Heart needs to play that song along with "Alone." And not the fucking acoustic version either.

I'll lay odds it ain't happenin' Sparky! I'm surprised they do TWO songs from the BIG HAIR days as it is...

Actually, both of those set lists look pretty cool.

I'd rather hear Arnel sing fucking Survivor covers with The Zoo than Heart sing Zep and The Who. To have a catalog like they do and play 2 covers in an 11 song set is just plain fucking STUPID!!!

Might/possibly/maybe going to the BC show in October. A friend in Victoria wants to go, so I might. I want to wait and see if there is more than the 2 Canadian dates first though. http://forums.melodicrock.com/phpBB/vie ... hp?t=35936

Four songs from Revelation! Wow - that's pretty decent! How was the reception for those songs? (Still considering Sacramento...)

Do they ride buses and fly throughout the tour, how does that work? They will play in Houston the night before Dallas, and where The Woodlands is located, it's probably a 4 hour drive. Is that a bus, van, limo, or what? They certainly wouldn't fly would they? From Dallas, they go to Tampa. Bus or fly?

Heart's ALWAYS covered Zep, all the way back to the 70's. And I'd rather hear LOVE REIGN O'ER ME over some cheese ass Holly Knight/ Diane Warren written power ballad any day of the week. :P Nobody really wants to hear that shit...

It was hard to tell from where I was (front row, thank you ILAA) what the reaction of the fans was to the new stuff. 17,000 people make a lot of damn noise no matter what the song is. Somebody else who was at Denver or SLC might be better able to answer this.
