Like the sig, Wally... but do you really think Favre can help? At this point, I'm open to the Dolphins trying just about anything.

You are correct, Gordon. I LOATHE the song "Open Arms", so any album with that song on it is ALWAYS going to fall woefully short, in my eyes. "Open Arms" is the biggest example of bubble-gum, syrupy, whiny, shit pop music I've ever heard in my life. Conversely, I believe "Faithfully" is the absolute greatest ballad EVER put out, by ANY band! It's an absolute brilliant song and is the definition of "timeless". There is a reason that to this day, it is still the signature song of the band.

All of those albums were the shiznit back in their day, but looking back ...I'm so sick of GnR I could puke, Slippery is dated and played out, Escape's production never left the 80's I don't care how awesome the songs are...Escape needs to be re-recorded with more of a Revelation sound. Back in Black is awesome, but come on...it's the same song over and over (album after album)...I hate to admit that the Lep's deserve this one..err..Mutt deserves this one;)

Maybe I was a little harsh...I was thinking more along the lines of Lay it Down and Wanted Dead or Alive..rockin' songs that just don't have any bite on the recording. Too much treble or something..just sounds flat to me.

And where the hell is "To Rock or Not to Be" by Krokus, or "Balls to the Wall" by Accept? Unbelievable. Who makes up these polls and then makes these glaring omissions?
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

the site asks for nominations - the polls are the result of the artists with the most nominations.

they are still accepting nominations for the 90s and for 2000+

Go participate and take care of the glaring ommissions.

even though BACK IN BLACK so kicked ESCAPES ass back in the day.. i bit my tongue and voted for escape...

for the diehard fans... like me i think lights is signature song of Journey... but with the bandwagon of 1981 DSB took over for lights.

That's just wrong. Every single musician in Journey outperforms and outclasses every single member of AC/DC, past or present. It just doesn't compare.
