What a bummer, these two were hilarious together!!

NEW YORK (AP) -- Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman have broken up, their publicists said Monday.

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman were together for five years.

"Jimmy and Sarah have no further comment," Kimmel's spokesman Lewis Kay told The Associated Press, confirming the split that was first reported on Vanity Fair magazine's Web site.

Silverman's publicist, Amy Zvi, confirmed the breakup in an e-mail message to the AP. Zvi didn't immediately respond when asked for further details.

The pair dated for five years, and they were one of Hollywood's funniest -- and seemingly solid -- couples.

Earlier this year, they took the Internet by storm with a mega-popular video duel. Silverman debuted a clip of her and Matt Damon singing about their fake love affair on Kimmel's ABC late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and Kimmel later responded with a star-studded video declaring a romance with Damon's best friend, Ben Affleck.

Silverman, 37, has made frequent appearances on the 39-year-old Kimmel's talk show. The comedian has starred in a feature-film length version of her one-woman show, "Sarah Si

Oh, man. I'm in line. One of the most hysterical people in the world, and she happens to be intelligent and pretty damned hot, too!

I never got the Kimmel thing. I was disgusted by "The Man Show". I thought both of those dudes were unintelligent pigs.

Yeah, that show had it's moments, but overall was pretty dumb. Same with Sarah's show.

One of the parts that had me rolling over in tears was when they decided to take a trip to the local jail. And the way they started the skit, Adam and Jimmy were holding hands skipping to the jail. :lol:

I was just out in L.A. a few weeks ago to catch Billy Idol on the Jimmy Kimmel show and I have to say, he definitely seemed a little "off". Not much interaction with the crowd at all.... I'm honestly surprised that his show has lasted this long (the Ben Affleck video was a riot though!)

Billy Idol on the other hand, was incredible. The man is on fire at 53 - sounds great and looks great! New album's out and he's currently on tour... front row, center in Baltimore this August
