1.) Treated them how? ...Provide substantiating proof of your claims, NOT just things you've come to learn over internet posts and filling in the gaps with your imagination.
2.) I wasn't there. I wouldn't know how anyone got treated so it is not my place to judge Neal's character and whether it is "right" or "wrong". Nor is it yours.
Yep.
The urban legends debunked again.

You wouldn't want someone to air out your own shortcomings on the internet would you, but in the same breath you are doing exactly that to someone else. You do realize that you are contradicting yourself don't you?
Your statement doesn't leave room for selectivity. If I don't mention that you are divorced, but I say you're an alcoholic is that fair to you?
Do you think that Neal's exbandmates care that you continue (in your opinion) to fight the good fight for them. Maybe your time would be better served mentoring a child or volunteering in your community. To do character assasinations on a message board can't leave you with that much emotional fulfillment can it?

Nothing wrong with having an opinion.I feel I am providing you a service by finding an alternative way for you to dispel the hate that is eating you alive in regards to Neal. My advice may actually prolong your life by removing some of the negativity which may lead to an untimely demise on your part. After all is said and done, you probably will owe me for any longivity to your life span that you may obtain by following my advice but that's okay. It's on the house

Woldone seems both posters have good points. You sound like the Journey bashers on the other 2 forums.

In short, he isn't the stand-still singer many predicted he would be while using those YT clips singing back home in the bars and clubs of Asia.
SO AGAIN, HELL NO!!!! In fact, the guy sounds so much better now than he did in Vegas. If they could film that DVD now, what you'd see is Championship Form.

A few years ago this would of sounded obsurd but after the last couple of years and all that happened you couldn't rule it out could ya? But lets not get too cynical..
One thing that is relevant i think is that most of the songs being played live were written to suit Steve Perry's voice. The original vocalist will always have it better than anyone that has to fit into their shoes since the songs fit their voice like a glove. They are still demanding and punishing but the the voice came first and the songs second..
With Steve Augeri and onwards it was the other way round and that is always gonna be tough on a singer.
Not taking anything away from what Steve Perry achieved on stage and the ordeal his voice would have to go through with that punishing tour schedule time and time again.. but it's no surprise that anyone who doesn't have the identical voice/range of Steve Perry will have their work cut out keeping their vocal health on the same songs.

What part of hell fucking no do people not get? No vocal issues whatsoever, so I wish Wech would change the tread title to IT's ALL GOOD. Arnel's range while not original, except for all the new Revelation stuff, has capably performed to the expectations of the crowd as witnessed by their jubilant applause.
So again, no vocal issues whatsoever.
Ummm MisaI love my Pinays.

I think it's Neal who simply doesn't grasp this reality. Neal constantly babbles about how all he wants to do is tour, without ever contemplating just how grueling this catalog is on a singer's voice!

I'm glad to hear tell that the hoarseness I thought I heard on NWA (San Diego YT clip) wasn't really there.
I said it before... guitar strings, drum skins... even grand fucking pianos can be replaced quickly and cheaply.
Human vocal folds are a whole different deal, and if the rest of Journey hasn't clued into that fact, after what
Steve P. and Steve A. were put through and suffered ... then Arnel is seriously screwed.
Journey can't be THAT fucking stupid, can they?
Like, what's the definition of insanity again?

There was a few parts in Utah that were some strain but nothing major. But outdoor dusty venues will do that.
As fans we all said, don't do too many shows and fry him, but in my opinion they booked a lot of shows and I don't think anyone listened.
It is all about money in shows, maybe somebody should think long term money..................
