This is a really big jump on the AC charts, which is typically a really slow burn chart.

After All These Years is one of my more favorites on the new album. It's that type of song that I can listen to while holding the woman of my dreams and reminisce to her about all the years that we had been together. Hate to say it but this song just wouldn’t be the same without her there with me.
I've never eaten a piece of sushi I didn't thoroughly enjoy.

I wish they could get some airplay for Turn Down The World Tonight. I think it would do just as well!

I agree! I'd also LOVE to hear "What I needed" get a shot as well. I LOVE that damn song.

Like that one too!! Do you know how a song gets on the air? Is it the Band or the Radio Stations?

Turn Down The World Tonight is so much better than Years. I can't see What I Needed having any commercial appeal whatsoever.

Try singing that shit.

I love the song. Something different.

"2nd best ballad since Faithfully". Exactly. Except that strictly speaking it's a power ballad, Journey's trademark. (MUCH better than a basic ballad, like "All The Way"). I think "After All These Years" has the potential to shock us all with how well it does on the charts.

Don't be surprised if we find ourselves, at the end of the tour, talking about how AATY went to #1 on the AC chart, or if it's nominated for a Grammy. It's not at all out of the question -- it is really that good.

I've recommended the album and that song to a number of people. Every single woman whom I've recommended that song to has cried the first time she heard it. Every single one of them. These were Journey fans, casual fans, and non-fans -- people who didn't even know that Journey was back together and touring again. The fact that every single one of them reacted the same way -- that's a pretty damn powerful song.

I don't think we've heard the last of AATY, not by a long shot ......

...which is actually the second best ballad since Faithfully. I'd put TDTWT in fifth spot instead...behind WCTNGF, HTG and WYLAW.

Could you imagine the success of AATY with Perry singing it?

That song was made for his voice...sad for me when I hear it with AP.

Just my opinion...I don't care if you don't like it.

Still NO AIRPLAY in Chicago.   Azoff needs to get on this ASAP. You don't ignore the 3rd biggest market. You get airplay here and it helps big time. Azoff needs to make a call or two. If that doesn't work, get some of Cain's goons to pay a visit to the program directors. If it comes to that, the station will probably be changed to JRNY.
