These people REALLY need to drop off the face of the earth.

True to form, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is again courting controversy with a new TV ad campaign that uses the issue of teen pregnancy in an effort to get people to spay and neuter their pets, Fox News reports. In the satirical ad, a couple are shown telling their daughter they want to talk to her about sex. The father tells her, "We think you should be having it, Sweetie." The mother adds, "A lot of it." Dad says, "Get out there and nail everything you can," and Mom chimes in, "If it's got a pulse, you should be wrapped around it." When the shocked girl asks what will happen if she gets pregnant, the father tells her, "So what? You should pop out all the kids you want. We'll just leave them in the shelter, dump them in the street."
PETA spokesperson Melissa Karpel called the ad fun and edgy, and told Fox, "This is a way to get the message into the mainstream. It's irresponsible to let your children have unprotected sex and it's irresponsible to not spay and neuter your animals when we're in an animal overpopulation crisis in the United States." The ad is being run in the top 10 teen pregnancy states, but only in big cities, in part because their markets are more likely to accept it. PETA said some stations have rejected the ad.
PETA actually launched the commercial in January in Kentwood, Louisiana, the hometown of Zoey 101 actress Jamie Lynn Spears, after news emerged that the 16-year-old sister of Britney Spears was pregnant. Spears, who's since turned 17, recently gave birth to a baby girl.
