Journey got heavy video play back in 81 when MTV came out and they had Journey as their first Prime time concert special.
So my vote goes to VH1 (even though Viacom are becoming youtube nazis)

It will never happen. AOR music never gets it's due. Now if Journey/REO/Styx, etc wants to pay tribute to someone, then one of them may get on the show. Sad but true.

Heart did get the treatment, but that had more to do with their Zeppelinesque beginnings. Leppard too, but that they are still characterized as metal for some reason.

Journey would most likely be paid tribute by people like Kelly Clarkson and newer artists. Personally I'd prefer to hear bands like Survivor, Hugo, Chalfant and Triumph and others pay tribute. Then again, some are saying they are paying tribute to themselves. How about inviting Steve Perry and Rik Emmett?

Didn't someone (Mariah Carey) record Open Arms? I know Britney Spears has sang it in concert.

Yeah, and some shitty boy band recorded it too I think. Both versions sucked.
