Not a writing demo..too polished for that. Someone just cut the thing up and moved stuff around to extend the time. Nothing new on that clip or any of the other 'Extended' versions on YouTube for that matter.

This song is great, and I don't care if it's sliced, diced and pureed; it's all Stevie to me.

as usual, I start with one and look at a ton of Perry or Perry led Journey audio/video when someone is so kind to throw one up here!!!! Those were the days, the only days really. How I wish.....

What Was is off Steve Perry Greatest Hits CD and put out by Sony. It seems to be c 1998. He could sing that today after hearing his duet with David Pack.

Does anyone know how to save off youtube? This person, gharris, compiled a lot of extended versions of SP's solo songs and posted it all up there.

Copy the url address of the video. Go to keepvid.com and paste it into the download box. You will have an option to save in flash or higher quality mp4 format. Save it as a mp4 than you can play it in your ipod or convert it to whatever you like.

I think this song was originally planned for the "Against the Wall" album, which was shelved by Columbia in 1988.

not trying to cause offense, but this kinda bores me... but prototypical solo-Perry and shows why he and Neal were great counter foils for each other...
