Hey! That's my video!!! :D

If you like that video, you would've REALLY loved it live. It was shot with a crappy digital camera. I was totally blown away by Frontiers' ability to pull this one off. It takes a very special voice to be able to perform that song with the emotion necessary to pull it off, but Jeremey nailed it! Plus, it was a fantastic weekend with friends! :)

I was at this show as well but did not know any of the friends that you speak of,however, I do know them now and what an awesome bunch of people they are. This was a night to remember for me as I met Jeremey for the first time and we discussed the Journey issue as well as talked about some of his songs that I had come across online. Great evening for sure. I also met Mike which was soon after the tragic events that took place. I had already met the other guys at a silent auction held for Mike and family.

I fail to see how NEAL has screwed up (pertaining to the lead singer situation).

Say what you will about Arnel. Neal didn't screw up. Period.

Also - - -

Deen can't take the lead singer's job permanently because 1- He's more comfortable drumming and 2- He has some kind of throat condition that would toast his voice if he sang full sets of Journey songs on tour.

I would take a guy who can't hit a single high note, but pronunciates the lyrics correctly over Arnel anyday.
This is not to imply that Jeremey doesn't hit the highs, he does.

I think you guys are missing the point.

Jeremey is a phenomenal singer and I would've rather had him in the band than Arnel.

BUT... Neal didn't screw up.

His actions as a friend and a professional band leader sure shows otherwise.

It's a mixed bag.
The new songs are pretty good, but his diction on the re-recorded hits is a cruel joke.
What does he bring to the table?
At least Augeri has his Robert Plant-lite inflections.

An excellent singer with the soul to pull it off. VERY few out there could do it as well.

This song (wctn) in my opinion, is one of their best ballads ever and really showcases Steve P's voice. To have Jeremey pull this off live, and so frickin close to the original in every manner is awesome. Easily the best live recorded testimonial to show just how good Jeremey can be when he is dead on. Takes alot to blow me away, this recording does. wow...

Love Jeremey and his work but in all honesty I find Arnel easier to understand when singing. It must be age creeping up on me but Jeremey to my ears occasionally 'growls' for want of a better word on the delivery of some lyrics making the pronunciation sound very different. Doesn't make him any less of singer, hell he is a phenom and his adlibbing is out of this world. I'm just stating for the record that although Arnel occasionally fumbles a lyric or two his diction is for the most part perfectly good and in my opinion he is often clearer in his delivery.

Also for the record I too would like to have seen Jeremey front Journey although it seems everything has worked out well for all concerned.

Flame on!

I agree. He kills on that one.

'Ouch'...That hurt....
I still fail to hear what everyone sees so special in this guy. Sorry but i just don't.
I have heard and seen many a video with this guy, and he just don't cut it for me.

Looks awful and sounds even worse.
Thank god Neal went with Pineda.
