My body is completely rejecting the idea that I can stay up any longer, so unfortunately I'll have to post most of them tomorrow... I did get some good ones, and Rhi, thanks for holding off until I could upload them. I'll get it done tomorrow.

However, Cyndy, we thought of you when we saw this place after leaving a train stop in Chicago, and I just had to get a pic... haha!

We DID have a great time; smashing success for JTTC. Back to t shirts and jeans for next weekend's Texas road trip, though, thank goodness.

Aww, thanks, and you looked stunning! I was actually planning on asking you if you wanted to dance later on, but everyone was completely glued to the performance and forgot to dance, I think! We'll see ya in Dallas next week, though! Maybe we can slam dance in the mosh pit during "Chain Reaction"!

What a post, good for you Stu.

Some did the same shit but now act like they're Augeri's biggest supporter again because it's yet ANOTHER bully pulpit from which to blaze away at the band.

I didn't hear any bashing of the Journey band members at the event, and haven't noticed any in this thread, either (though I may have missed a post or two catching up). Trust me, we had plenty of other things to talk about. I've always been a huge Augeri fan, and was there to support a great cause and an artist I like. Look, I know this is a free board and all, but I would like to ask people to please just give us a thread where we can talk about the great time we had, and the excellent job Steve did without turning it into the usual war -- a million other threads like that already. At least give the event the respect it deserves by leaving the negative posts out -- they put a great deal of hard work into making it happen, and I can't wait to attend next year as well.

The JTTC Event was just plain awesome! Kudos to Val and the entire organization for a wonderful night! I had the pleasure of being seated at the same table as Rip, Rhi and Blue Jean Girl. It was nice meeting you all! The entertainment was great. It was my first time being able to hear Kevin Chalfant in person and I was absolutely blown away. That guy has a great set of pipes! His band was pretty awesome too!

The highlight of the night was being able to see Steve Augeri gracing the stage again. His performance was spectacular! Loved the acustic set he did. Kiss Me Softly was very moving. Vocals were perfect. The rockers were great as well. Steve made sure anyone who wanted an autograph and picture got one!

Marty should have some wonderful pictures and I will post some later as well. (Time to get back to reality and work! :) )

Again, Kudos to Dr. Val and the JTTC team! They do some pretty wonderful work! Please support this great cause!

I guess maybe now I can take the time to say how wonderful Saturday night was. Val, Butch, and everyone involved with putting the event together with the JttC did an absolutely beautiful job. I really enjoyed seeing some familiar faces, Teresa, Debbie, Barb, Linda... you are all sweethearts! It was nice to meet some new faces. I think the Joy Basket program the JttC does is one of the most touching things I've seen, so thoughtful and warm. The entertainment was certainly enjoyable, as well. I can't wait for the next Sparkle Tie Ball! I could definitely make a yearly tradition out of a night like that. :)

I just wanted to say as well that it was great meeting Rhi, Rip and BJG. It's too bad we didn't have more time to chat and get to know each other. Next time. It was also great seeing so many old friends as well.....it was like a big family reunion!!

And Val I couldn't agree with you more about the A's. It truly is an honor to know them. And I feel the same way about you and Butch as well!! Love you!

I saw a pretty classy, responisibility-taking post by RVR and am saluting him for it no lecture needed.

Hey, Barb! I believe you were seated next to Rhi and across the table for me, and I wish we'd had more time to talk. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay very long afterwards, and hope I at least got to say goodbye to everyone. Great meeting you, and looking forward to seeing you next year!
