It wasn't one of the 4 main members though. Not that I want to belittle the importance of any member of the band, but the 4 well knowns from the band are all still alive. They were all the singers. The one who died was one of their drummers.

In a recent interview with one of the members (Benny Andersson) when asked why turn down all this money and not tour he said he feels that they already make enough money of off old songs through the play and now royalties from Universal Studios. He also said it would be like cheating the fans by trying to get more money from them for performing old classics.
