It's not so much an echo of angelic voices (although Deen has decent harmonies here), as it is Arnel's dynamic lower-register operatics.... THAT is what brings to recall the Meatloaf comparisons.

I don't hear them either - but the song has a theatricality about it. And the keyboards seem to be really strong like on Meatloaf stuff.
