Have you guys ever been?

I've been there lots of times and I'm there for the next 3 days.

I was wondering if there was something you wanted a photo of.

Let me know in this thread and if I see it, I'll take a photo.

This is a link to The Spirit.

A guy I've known most of my life lives in Studio City and works for Warner Bros Interactive. He's there on business for them this week and is having a blast! Hope you have a blast ttango! :)

TTango, I've always wanted to go to one of these, and there is ALWAYS a killer panel for some upcoming movie where they generally bring the stars and show special footage of the film. If they have a setup for the new Punisher movie and Ray Stevenson is there, please take a picture with him, and tell him Rip Rokken sends his regards!

I've been to the Chicago one several times but not San Diego. I'm not into that whole scene so I wouldn't travel for it, but the Chicago one is held like 5 minutes from my house, and I have a couple friends who used to go. I met Kevin Smith (briefly) at Chicago. :D I met Jason Mewes (Clerks, Mallrats, etc)too but not the same year.

My autographed Silent Bob Inaction Figure is one of my favorite autographed items. :D 8)

SWEET!!!! How was Jason in person? Is he much different from his "Jay" character? I've never liked Kevin Smith personally -- he's always come off as cocky and intensely disrespectful when I see him in interviews, like the kinda guy who would get a kick out of farting loudly in church and think it's funny.

Jason in person was about what you'd expect. Except I learned years later that at the time I met him he was in rehab and had obtained a special leave to go to Chicago with Kevin for the Con.

Kevin Smith is absolutely cool in person. Here's a story... the exhibitors weren't allowed to get in on the panels or the meets - it was for guests obviously... I had an exhibitor badge because the people I was with had a table there (long story). So Smith hung around until after the Con closed to the public at 5pm. Once it was shut down, he came out and did pics and autographs for those who were exhibitors and merchants. I thought THAT was totally cool. He'd been there all day doing those panels and he hung out even though his appearances were long over. That's how I got my autographed silent Bob.

Get a pic of Leonard Nimoy and Zach Quinto!

I wish I'd thought to get passes to CC earlier, cause I really want to go.
