OT: Kelly Hansen / Hurricane

Speaking of Kelly Hanson from Foreigner, I was a HUGE Hurricane fan, and they deserved more recognition than they got. That band also had Robert Sarzo and Tony Cavazo, brothers of the Quiet Riot guys, but with Sarzo on guitar and Cavazo on bass! Family life must have been rocking growing up for them!

"I'm On To You" (poor audio on this vid, but great song)

"Over The Edge"

And my ALL TIME favorite, "Temptation"!!! That's Doug Aldrich now of Whitesnake on guitar, btw...

Any other fans?

This is one band I've heard a lot of good things about but never heard any of their stuff.

Let me know what you think of "Temptation" -- one of my favorite songs of all time, and the first time I'd ever heard Doug Aldrich. The first version of that album cover, Slave To The Thrill, was banned and replaced with something more tame. Wish I still had that CD!

I saw Hurricane open for Stryper on the To Hell With The Devil tour...

At one point, their first 6-song EP was one of the most expensive rock CD's on eBay, and sometimes went for over $100.... They finally re-released it.
