Thanks to everyone who responded to the family and to everyone else for their kind thoughts and prayers!!!
There is good news today and I will let Bobby's mother Mary tell you about it. This is her post this morning at caringbridge.com:

We are so impressed with the remarkable response we've had for white blood cell donors!
From the two local churches and including Robert and I there are four people qualified to donate for Bobby. This should be sufficient for now as we can donate up to 4-5 times each.
Others have called who are friends or family of people who read this blog or friends of the local church members. We thank God for all of you and are so heartened by your outpouring of love and support.
Bobby had his first white blood cell transfusion today and all went well. He did not have any type of reaction which is a blessing as it is possible for swelling to occur. Since his infection is in his lungs, the doctors were concerned swelling may cause him to have trouble breathing and then need to be put on a ventilator, the Lord protected him from that.
Tomorrow he will have another transfusion...we're praying this
will help the infection so he can move on to the experimental treatment.
"What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand." John 13:7

Thanks to everyone!!! You all rock.
