$3.77 for regular, but premium is $3.91. I don't use premium, but am surprised at the big difference in price. Is it like that everywhere?

Ummmm. Eat me. I'm not a dork. The station with the carwash isn't one I normally go to, so I hadn't run across that before.

No, but I like chaos, and the recent foreclosures have created wonderful opportunities. I have little sympathy for people that don't prepare for worldwide cyclical downturns. Especially morons that bought their homes with Adjustable Rate Mortgages.

There but for the grace of God go I. You never know what the future holds, dude. Lots of people thought they were prepared, only to see their investments tank and home values turn to shit. Most Americans are basically financially illiterate and trust "experts" who aren't much smarter than they are. It's really sad.

It pulls more money out of your pocket and people that were barely getting by are feeling the pinch.

multiple subjectivities in the same body, apparently...we've got lecherous Dan; philosophical Dan; drunken arrested Dan, kind and gentle Dan (see 720 thread), and, now, judgmental Dan...

kind of cool; need less friends that way; you get a whole 6 pack in the same guy

I paid $3.73/gal. a couple of days ago here in College Station (TX)...but I think it's dropped a couple of cents since then due to the students not being back yet.
I miss the days when I could fill the tank up for $10- $12. :x
