It pulls more money out of your pocket and people that were barely getting by are feeling the pinch.
And you get off on that?

With my fuzzy math, I think that equates to 4.62 a gallon, about the same as a few areas of Los Angeles.

By the fountain. But there's 4000 hotels over there, so I'm sure that's why.

Me either.
But over here all I know is that a journey which used to cost £20 now costs almost £40.
But this is 'rip-off' Britain, after all. So it's no surprise.

If i convert to dollars - a tank fill-up costs $140! But, our economy is seriously fucked and we pay far too much tax. Regardless of which idiots are in power.......

In addition to the car wash bait, I found another one.
I passed a Citgo station this morning that said " 4.10 / 4.15 "

4.10 followed by smmmallll type that said "cash".

Mofos.

Maybe this has been going on and I just didn't notice until now. Honestly, I stopped rading the signs and looking for the best deals, especially in the city. You're kind of screwed no matter where you go, so I gave up the petrol comparison shopping.

$3.96 on my commute home. Not that it really makes a damn. The recent $0.20 drop for a 20 gallon tank is only $4.00. (Woo hoo... :P )

I saw $3.42 at a gas station here in S.C. this morning on my way to work. There was a damn line from hell with people waiting in line. I've seen an average around here for the last couple of days of $3.65. Not too bad. I can't imagine having the prices some of you do around the country! You know who I feel bad for? The arsonists. It's gotta cost them a fortune now to torch places! What's this world coming to?
