I have to think that Favre wants to play for a contender, and most of the teams that are assumed contenders already have a dependable, younger QB. Not to mention Favre would have to learn a new offense in most cases. It is evident by his antics that he does not want to go somewhere [or GB for that matter] and be the back up. I am sure that has something to do with why so few teams have publically expressed interest in him.

He could always play for the Argonauts.

Did I see that the Packers are offering him $20Mill to stay retired? Yeah, think I'd be playing football in my backyard for that deal. Sign me up!

Please, aside from a little burst of something he used to have last season, the last three or four years for him have been crap. 38 is young in general, ancient in football, he's not going to get any better... Tavaris will.

Pathetic all the way to the Hall of Fame, on the 1st ballot he is eligible for.......yeah, the events of this off season havent been his, or the Packers finest moments, but they don't erase 16 years of excellence, fourteen of which ended with winning records the 15th was an 8-8 season.

Which Vikings players from the last 16 years will be there to greet him, or Joining him there in the future ? One thing is for sure, if there is anyone, they sure wont be reflecting on any Superbowls they played in.

Knock him all you want, but no matter what you say, his legacy will be based on those 16 years, not on the past 6 months.

year after year. who cares.

he needs to sign a long term contract and play till he is 100, cause he will never retire. I dont care that he does but enough of this back and forth. selfish guy IMO. love his play but he is a jackass.

Yeah, I agree. But it is fun to watch as it careens toward it's conclusion. I just want to know what AKay will do if Favre becomes a Viking.

I will cheer for them as a team, as I have done since I was ten years old, but I won't cheer for Favre. I will continue to give him the one finger salute and laugh my ass off when he gets sacked or passes an interception. I would rather see us go 0-16 then see that piece of shit in a purple uniform.

I'm curious Angie....why do you hate him so passionately?

I know back in the day I hated John Elway for all the times he broke my heart. But when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame......I was right there front and center applauding him.

it's gotta be frustration, Packers have pretty much owned owned the Vikings for the past 5 years or so........

Actually, I understand completely, when Jim McMahon donned a Green and Gold jersey, I was none too happy, luckily, he never saw the field in a game except for mop up duty.
