His son was "not close" with him, and also said that he had an incredibly inflated opinion of himself.

The guy's family was obviously onto him and he should have raised some eyebrows in the initial dig. Especially when he offered to HELP. The true mark of an insane criminal - offering to help with the investigation.

Oh well, at least he's gone. Good riddance.
