SUPPORT MY GUYS! Seriously, this album is going to be contagious. Listening to the finished product a few weeks ago I couldn't believe how good it had actually turned out. Some of you are getting this as swag, and I will contact you about that this week. The rest of you need to click the link in my sig and buy the fucking thing! :D

7th heaven releases "U.S.A. - U.K." CD
7th heaven, the Chicago-based rock/pop band, is proud to announce the release of their latest album "U.S.A - U.K". This CD features new lead singer Keith Semple, who is well-known in the U.K. for winning "Pop-Stars - The Rivals" (the U.K. version of American Idol). After finding each other on MySpace, Keith moved from Northern Ireland and joined forces with 7th heaven. This new lineup has already played over 400 shows together to over half a million people. "U.S.A. - U.K." is a great collection of rock/pop music with strong harmonies and unforgettable choruses. Check out the entire 18 song CD right now at www.7thheavenband.com.

You can order the CD right now off the band's website "Store" and the songs will be available on iTunes August 12th.

As they enter their 24th year, 7th heaven remains one of the strongest indie bands playing today (over 200 shows/year with 20,000 units sold to date). They are proud to have performed with some of the biggest artists, appeared and had their music played on the most popular TV shows, and can boast of one of the best live shows around. Kids, adults, college students and corporate clients alike all keep coming back for more - happily keeping 7th heaven the busiest bands in the world.

I am EXTREMELY excited about this as I co-wrote one of the songs on the CD ("Take Me Back") with Rich! A great bunch of guys, and very talented too!!

That was you??? Keith had me listen to it last night, it was the only one I hadn't heard yet. I have to say it's catchy, noticably different from the typical 7H sound, but it meshes well with the vocals and will be bomb ass live. Good job, dude.

So far I'm only liking "This Summer Is Gonna Last Forever." They seem to have deviated from their signature monster choruses and went in a more "mature" direction. Kinda sounds like Bryan Adams to me. No bad songs, but nothing jumps out at me except TSIGLF. Have a few more to listen to, though.

I just straight-up ordered an album without even sampling it.

I just have "that hunch." ;)

Actually I think I order 75% of my music based on little-informed "hunches," and most of the time it's spot-on.

It's how I discovered one of my favorites, Marillion.

lol...they are not as good as the originals, though. Undone sounds really muffled. I don't understand the effect they were trying to achieve on that one. Keith fucking rocks that song live.

I know the band has played Northern Ohio before, but what are the chances of getting 7H down to Columbus or Cincy?

There are whispers of a decent multi-state tour coming soon. Cleveland HOB is a definite possibility.

After what we went through tonight in... Bumblefuck, IL you called it...? You know just south of Wisconsin where the earth opens up to the seventh circle of hell... I'd be doing continual double takes as well. Fuck me sideways, what a pisser.
