Haha I kind of agree. At least right now.

Alien Ant Farm's "Smooth Criminal" is way better than MJ's though.

THAT'S A COVER?!

You've ruined my childhood. D:

Also, speaking of Beatles covers, Joe Cocker seems to make Beatles songs better. Of course everyone knows With A Little Help but he also did Come Together for Across The Universe:

Speaking of Triumph, they do a good version of Eric Martin's (& Neal Schon) song, Just One Night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVtsKuj22vQ

You better sit down before I tell you this because you won't believe it. I like Soto's version of Crazy better too.

Tito and I both said that when we saw Soul Sirkus. That version is great.

Not sure who the original artists are (would love to know). But John Waite's "Fly" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-O2cOhT93o and Rod Stewart's "Weak" are killer. I can't say they are better than the originals, because I have never hear either of them. I just know both are.

Keane's a great band. Awesome singer. Ever heard their version Satchmo's "What a Wonderful World"? Great stuff.
I just heard Keane's new song today on their myspace page. Wish I could say I liked it. I don't have this song, where'd you get this?

I prefer the Beatles "Daytripper" but I like Cheap Trick's. I also liked their version of "Magical Mystery Tour".

I just now heard the new song on youtube...um, yeah, I'm not lovin' it either. Hmmm...I've been following their diary on the making of the album and they were talking about "funk" - I thought they were kidding. Tom's voice needs to soar not do discoey rap stuff...yikes. Hope the rest of it grabs me...I know when they released the first single on Iron Sea I didn't care for it, but love the rest of the album.
Oh, to answer your question...I think it is on their DVD I have, at least that is where I first heard a portion of it, then I got it from iTunes, I think....sadly, I am not so great on computer stuff & since hubby updated my computer last year I can't get back to iTunes & I can't bug him about such stupid stuff. I haven't heard "what a wonderful world" by them, but I can't imagine anyone doing it better than Louis Armstrong.

Eva Cassidy did a great version of Sting's "Fields of Gold." If you've never heard of her, do yourself a favor and dig around on YouTube. She does a tremendous version of "Over the Rainbow," too. Oh, and "Imagine," and "What a Wonderful World," and pretty much anything else she tackled.

She was taken too young.

Here's a link to a special ABC "Nightline" about her.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sd9pWLrjyUg

Look to the right of the above clip to find the other two parts of the show.[/b]
