Open Arms...in Italian! (By David Ask)

Postby Art Vandelay » Thu Aug 07, 2008 7:21 am

I just found this guy on I-Tunes, his name is David Ask. He's a classical trained tenor, and is doing things along the lines of Andrea Bocelli.

His new CD, Breakthrough, has a version of Open Arms in Italian.

There has been more than enough talk about Journey remakes on this board, and I have stood clear of most of it. But I honestly have to say, that this guy does a beautiful job with the song, taking it to a whole different level.

His CD is available on ITunes.

The youtube link is the actual recording session of OA.

Enjoy.

You can't even understand it. It's like those Italians have a different word for everything.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Good thing I noticed before I posted  I liked that! If she didn't try to copy the Careyisms it would have been very good!
