He looks so much better!

He survived cancer, rehab and an undisclosed medical condition that derailed his tour, but Eddie Van Halen is looking hot for teacher.

Sporting a cool new 'do, the 53-year-old vacationed in Maui on Tuesday looking tan and fit. Who needs Jenny Craig?

I'm just glad he's still alive. The new VH record with Dave is going to ROCK THE WORLD next year.

Yeah, but neither of them are near as good as "Humans Being"

I like CGTSNM better than HB. HB is better than MWM, though.

Perhaps you misread my post. I said neither are as good as "Humans Being"

He looks sooo much better. He doesn't look totally strung out, and someone has finally fed him. Hope it lasts.

Take care,

Ernest Borgnine & George Clooney's love child. Ha.

But I will say he looks good & normal. I hope he is. He was never ripped before. He was skinny, unhealthy and on his way to the morgue.
Maybe he'll balloon up another 50 lbs, then he'll get back together with Valerie Bertinelli via Jenny Craig.

later~

He looks good, but I wouldn't put more weight on. Human Beings is a very good song, but MWM and CGTSNM are much better.

The best Van Halen / Van Hagar song of all time is IMO, unquestionably "(Don't Tell Me) What Love Can Do" - followed closely by "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love". Eddie has been writing licks for 10 years now - I'm sure he has a few classics in the pipeline.
