That's an insult to Bickler who's the best out the bunch.

That's why he's singing jingles now.

And Perry's singing for the White Sox.

And 13, Jamison was a far better talent than fucking Bickler. The order is Perry, Jamison, Bickler out of those 3. Bickler better than Perry...lol.

It amazes me how people take when he sang for the White Sox, no mention that he screamed and yelled at a ball game for 4 days before singing, as his "best recent work". This guy is no Perry in any sense, at any time.

have to agree. The guy sounded decent, but he didn't sound like Perry. Arnel sounds more like him than this guy and Guifria (whatever way you spell it) was way over the top in his imitation.

Do any of you remember a band called Spyz? It was made up of 2 guys from Foreigner who were fired and some other cats. That singer did a pretty good Perry impersonation too, at least on their first album. By the second, his voice was pretty trashed.

I wouldn't say Survivor, but I agree this isn't that close to Perry.

Actually, I've mentioned that numerous times and was probably the first to do so. My point wasn't that his latest work was with the White Sox. It was more so that he can't face the fact that he can't really sing worth a shit anymore, won't face that and has strung along fans and his bandmates during that process!

This dude sounds pretty good, but as someone mentioned in the YouTube comments, he sounds a little too much like a baritone most of the time. He can definitely hits some notes though!

Very good voice! (Song sucks orangutan balls, though)
Great find, Vladan.

I can see how he could bend it even closer to Perry's timbre if he wanted to.
His falsetto is a little too distinctly so, but at least Schon now has an option
on who to call, after Journey's done with deliberately fucking up Arnel's voice.

Holy shit batman !!

This song makes me shit ragu it is so bad HOWEVER....

Some of you need to listen a little deeper. This guy has a fucking amazing voice and sounds way TOO much like Perry and in a way has something that Perry didnt... He has the slight rasp, richness and depth of Perry during the Frontier years AND the range and crystal high tenor of Perry during the infiity departure era. Best of both worlds. When Frontiers came out Perry had already lost some of the infinify era glass breaking acrobatics due to whatever and didnt have both of those textures available to him at the same time..

But where is this guy now ? What legacy does he have besides this terrible song and probably terrible record. Goes to show it takes more than a magic voice to make history..l

Man, I love this song and having given them both a good listen, about 90% of the 1988 debut and the 1989 followup. The first album has the edge for me vocally as the '89 is slightly less melodic and more rawk!

Great song though, seriously. Can't remember a single note of it once it's finished but whilst it's playing it's just great! Gotta love the `80s

I would rank them...

#1 Jimi Jamison
#2 Steve Perry
#3 Dave Bickler

But Bickler is a hell of a lot better than he usually gets credit for. There are a lot of people who prefer Bickler over Jamison.

Ahhh, After Hours!!!

Seen this band a couple of times live. They rocked, big time, and Francis was a great singer.
He joined UK AORsters Shy for a short time after Tony Mills left for a while, but not a clue what he is up to nowadays.

That's the most biased comment I have ever heard. Jamison and Bickler as not in the same leauge as Steve Perry. This guy from "after hours" is better than Jamison.
