Actually, Gunbot, the right term for someone who always does "bola" is :

bolero, if a man; and
bolera, if a woman.

Yes, it's applicable to both genders!

jp, bola also means "ball" (e.g. tennis ball) in Tagalog. In that sense, your attempt is acceptable. :lol: :wink:

In sport, a ball (bola) is typically maneuvered/played/spun

Kapag Binobola ka (When you are 'being made bola'), that means
you are being treated like a ball: maneuvered/played/spun
via flattery. sometimes with a barrage of bullshit.

A bolero is in that sense, a bullshit artist.
