If anyone gets to talk to Gregg, ask him what he thinks of Revelation, Arnel and Journey's resurgence.

Thanks Lu... :)
What kind of stuff does he play? His own originals post-Journey or does he throwback to Santana a bit? What's the feel? It's Rolie so I'm sure it'll be amaze. 8)

Does he ever play stuff like on his album "Gringo"? I still have that sucker on LP. Yes my age is showing!

Rhi,
Have fun, let us know how the show went!

Back on topic...

There's always hope for something like this, especially since it is in Chicago:

Man Rolie is such a class act.

I hope he makes it out close to me someday. Other than Neal Schon, Steven Wilson, and the guys from Rush.... Gregg Rolie is one of my all-time favorite overall musicians, I love EVERYTHING he's involved in.

Enjoy his warm, smooth organ. ;)

It's been over the plate longer than the sun's been over the earth, brother.

Bit of a running gag for the past year after either Rhi or St. John called me out on it once. ;)

Gregg's warm, smooth organ goes in and out of my ears several times daily, sometimes for hours at at time.... and best experienced late at night.

We're familiar with one another.

On and ironic note, GA made me homesick. We went to the Buffet-lo (remember Mama Cass, B?) and they had authentic Lexington-style BBQ!!! I haven't had that since I left North Carolina... and it tasted almost as good as my Momma's!! 8)

Well damn, you can't beat a really good BBQ anything!!! :D Best BBQ I have ever had came from a place called Stubb's in Lubbock, TX. I swear to god those ribs came from a dinosaur they cloned from DNA via Jurassic Park.....good times had by all!

been there!!!! 8)
