i am not so sure but last december ... a bottle of san miguel is around 18 pesos and roughly 30 pesos if you like it in cans...

bud light and other imported brands are also available, (but maybe available only on selected outlets and would cost you a lot more)

thanks bro, here are more pics...

9. Pearl Farm – far south in the city of Davao, lies the premier beach resort know as the Pearl Farm. The place no longer has the pearls you are looking for. But the place can still offer an experience as valuable as a pearl. This is because of the great resort that is accompanied by the white sands.

You obviously have good taste. :P
But these pictures of beaches and the water and all that is nothing but a cruel tease! They're all gorgeous! I love beaches... wish I were on one of those with a Corona and a bag of limes. *Daydreams*.... :)

10. Siargao – this place is another surfers dream. The place offers you waves that can curl up to 12 feet high. Aside from the waves, the place also has beaches that still remains unspoiled by urban lifestyle.

this one is a dream vacation for me, swimming from one island to the next ...

Hundred Islands:
lying off the coast of Pangasinan, is made up of 400 islets surrounded by coral gardens and white sand beaches. This area is ideal for swimming and fishing. Hundred Islands is the second-largest marine reservation in the world, teeming with over 2000 species of aquatic life. The caves and domes of Marcos Island and the Devil's Kitchen are worth exploring. The entire province of Palawan is a remarkable terrain for adventure and exploration, with its primeval rainforests, St Paul's Underground River and Tubattaha Reef. Inter-island cruises around northern Palawan are now available.

February is a great time to go to the PI...The hospitality of the Filipinos goes above and beyond...if you go, you gotta experience the "King of the Roads"...JEEPNEYS

Image

...San Miguel is a good beer, but if you want a crazy kick-ass beer , you got to have Red Horse Beer. For the casual drinker 1/2 a bottle will get them buzzed...

SJ, I suggest you try San Miguel Beer, too. I believe San Miguel Pale Pilsen is the most popular beer in P.I. You may like it.

http://www.sanmiguel.com.ph/ourprods.as ... t=5&COID=1

http://www.sanmiguel.com.ph/index.aspx?COID=1 (major food & beverage company in the Philippines; major player in Asia)

I'll be sure to try it. Thanks, man! 8)

No problem, SJ. My pleasure. :D
Make sure you share your San Mig beer with Rip... so he can re-coup some good sleep in the Philippines!

SJ, it's about 41 to 68 U.S. cents at today's official exchange rate of 44.31 Philippine pesos to a U.S. dollar.
http://www.mb.com.ph/
BTW, the smallest unit of currency in P.I. is centavo (there are 100 centavos to a peso)

No leave it. It's funny.

I actually read it the way it was intended. I didn't notice the joke until someone pointed it out. I think that means I read here too much.

I think we have most of the popular American Fast Food chains, McDonalds, Kentucky, Burger King, Wendy's, Pizza Hut, Starbucks et al...

there are meals, like burger & coke around 20 pesos ... good for kids but I'll need probably two of those meals ...lol

we also have 7/11's so you can buy your beers 24 hours ... lol
