My wifes favorite of all time. She's got so many videos she watches on the day of his birth and death.

He was a great and generous person.

Rest In Peace.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

A song came into my life
Right now it is the pinnacle of my existance
I could immerse myself in it forever!

My way
Your way
Anyway
Everyway

Still its probably just wishful thinking
but I still dare to dream
& believe dreams can come true

Elvis was looking like the end was near
but still his voice was strong & clear

God Bless him
God Bless all his angels of song
who give so much of their soul to us!

To sing together is to share of the soul
for those with hearts that know

Videos from that show are heartbreaking to watch. I love the 68 Comeback Special. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26E2H2jB-tQ

I remember that concert. {on tv}I cheered and cried through it. Unchained melodey ,was profound. He played piano and sang.I always felt he knew that would be the last time he would sing it. His voice sounded good through out, although I thought he was going to die right there. Elvis will always be the best ever. He was the first.

Same here...even though he was becoming an unsightly fat bastard at the end, his voice was still strong. Tragic.

My wife is in there right now watching "Elvis - By the Presleys".
