OT: Obama reportedly chooses Biden as VP candidate

Postby conversationpc » Sat Aug 23, 2008 3:07 pm

Fox News is reporting that Biden is Obama's choice for VP. Out of all the serious candidates I'd heard about recently, he's the last person I would have picked. Can't stand the guy.

Sounds a whole lot like Bush.

That's the ten million dollar question. I ever so slightly lean toward Obama. Anything different from the current administration has to be better.

I so hope it's Romney. The only thing I'd look forward to in this whole stupid election is the VP debate between Biden and Romney.

Don't know much about Biden so I guess I'm gonna have to do some research.

I've talked to people who are voting for the VPs rather than the presidential candidate. In all probability, they will be the one running the country any way. Kinda like now.

if obama would've went with clinton that could've helped a lot.he is alienating tons of voters by snubbing hillary and it will cost him the election in my opinion.

He needs to decline. The state of Delaware represents all that Obama hates. This pick doesn't make sense.

Well...I hate to say, the pick makes sense to the decision-makers, G-bot!

Hilarious. Friday Rush said something like this, "I know we try to stay away from religion on this show. But I'm gonna say a little prayer here. Please, oh please, let Obama pick Biden"

You're kidding, right? No VP has even remotely affected the election results since 1964. Biden was the blandest, most obvious choice out there, since Hillary would have destroyed his campaign. People vote for the PRESIDENT, not the VP. It's still McCain vs. Obama. Neither candidate's selection will have ANY impact whatsoever, unless McCain chooses Al Sharpton or George Bamberger.
