Now that I got your attention
, I would like to introduce myself to the MR group. Been lurking here for a long time and I must admit, this forum makes my day. I get entertained reading posts that ranges from the sub-prime to the pRickulous. I am very open minded and I respect every individual's opinion. Journey is one of my favorite all-time bands. I can't really say it's my ultimate favorite since I listen to everything my mood directs me. Grew up listening to the Beatles, Clapton, Seals and Crofts, Steely Dan, Bee Gees, Eric Burdon etc. and I do have a strong background in 80's music as well. I was so confident with my music knowledge that I actually auditioned for a spot on the now defunct VH1's "Rock and Roll Jeopardy". Passed the written test, interview and everything. Well, I did not get selected. Too asian perhaps... 
For the record - IMHO, Steve Perry is the best male vocalist to ever grace the earth. For those who agree, we should might as well call him "sliced bread" since he is the best thing....well, you know where I am going with this.
