OT: Band Name of The Week...

Back when I was doing a weekly music column for one of the San Diego County daily newspapers I wrote for, I included a feature called "Band Name of The Week."

I was never short of qualified candidates...this one would have made the cut for sure:

I knew an American punk rock band in Japan in the 80's who called themselves "The Fetus Cheese Projectiles." I was fortunate enough one day to sit in the bar with them as they were prepping for their next gig in Tokyo. They were setting in motion a plan to have a huge vat up on their stage full of cottage cheese and little naked plastic babies, at which point they said that they would reach in the vat during their gig and toss the babies out into the audience. I doubt that they ever did it cause I never heard of such an international incident happening in Japan over the news around that time. I'm sure it would have set off a world of shit for them had they done it though.
