I had a thought -- you know, the WB network (or CW or whatever it is called) showcases artists on many of their programs that target younger audiences (like Smallville). I'd love to see a song like "Cry Me A River" running over a scene in one of those shows... might make for some great exposure for the album.

You are dreaming Rip. Only way that will happen actually with any song is if the director knows the artist or digs the artist music. Correct if I am wrong but isn't this being only released on itunes. I beleive Jeff does even have a record label yet.

These aren't merely some director's personal picks -- there is a joint marketing campaign going on between the series and the soundtrack artists, as at the end of each show, they advertise those whose songs appeared in each episode ("Tonight's episode of ______ featured music by _______"). Voiceover + a photo of the album cover -- it's a real push...
