"She is the only one of the 4 with ANY executive experience. She's more qualified than Obama and all his "present" votes in the Senate."

Agreed 100%

Hey...I'll be the first to admit, all 4 peeps in the race are not ideal....but no Obama says my momma.

He was also fond of using racialized dog whistle politics, most prominently invoking apocryphal "cadillac driving welfare queens," and declaring his unwavering support of "states rights," in all places 1960s Philadelphia, Mississippi - where the bodies of three murdered civil rights workers were hardly cold.
The Republican Party is no longer the party of Honest Abe.
Its the party of Jesse Helms and Rush Limbaugh, who has routinely called Obama "the little black man-child" and played parody songs with titles like "Barack the Magic Negro."

With any luck, McCain will win and switch back to his moderate 2000 self and restore some much needed sanity to what is increasingly a fringe party.

That is absurd. It doesn't even qualify as "opinion". It's just bullshit.

Most of the homophobic and/or racist comments I've seen on this board have come from liberals. I know just as many bigots in real life who are Democrat as I do Republican. Your comment is horseshit.

But for Christs sake she was born in the same state as me and her story is real close to mine, plus she is very attractive.

History doesn't count in this matter. It's a well known fact that in the CURRENT state of the two political parties, the Republicans are much more bigoted and racist than the Democrats. The far-right faction of the GOP are mostly redneck bigots who would never vote for a black, a gay, a Jew, an Arab, a Mexican, or anyone else who doesn't look and act like they do.

Racism according to Merriam-Webster is defined as:

Main Entry: rac·ism
Pronunciation: 'rA-"si-z&m also -"shi-
Function: noun
Date: 1936
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2 : racial prejudice or discrimination

I live in the South. Every last racist I have met has been of the traditional southern Republican conservative ilk.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

And before you start spewing your venomous (and warrantless) attacks on Obama, try FINDING OUT THE TRUTH FIRST.

I've heard a bunch of people say that Obama is going to be forced to n*****-rig the economy to get it back on track after Bush destroyed it. I have to admit, that one is kind of funny even though I am an Obama supporter. He would probably even get a chuckle out of it himself.

The black race in America has been let down by race hustlers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. They have perpetuated poverty, welfare and government dependence. Keeping a large portion of blacks poor and ignorant keeps them employed and rich. Republicans have had nothing to do with black people being held back. The same cannot be said about the aforementioned parasites.

I agree... especially Jesse Jackson. He is a pure hypocrite who has done nothing to help the blacks. All he does is incite hatred and race wars.

Al Sharpton is much less hard-edge than Jackson, and I would consider him pretty much harmless. Also, I like Al's jokes. He was great in Mr. Deeds.

I am well aware of this.
Unlike you guys, I actually listen to the countervailing winds of opinion.

Like most of the GOP’s use of racialized tactics, there retains just enough plausible deniability to let it slip by, but they know all-too-well exactly what they’re trying to do.
It’s the same reason the McCain campaign leaped at the chance to make political hay out of Obama’s alleged use of the race card.

You don't know jack shit about my listening habits. I started out listening to talk radio by hearing both sides of the spectrum, Barry Farber's show and Colmes' show immediately afterward. The only liberal crap I haven't been able to bring myself to listen to was that tripe on Air America.

Here is a headline about McCain froma few months ago, which explains his VP choice:

"McCain: Surprisingly Immature, Erratic And Impulsive At 72."

Obama made a very intelligent and wise choice when he chose Joe Biden for his VP. McCain made an impulse decision trying to play on the fact that Hillary didn't get nominated for president or VP. He just grabbed some woman he doesn't even know and said, "Here you go America, if Obama won't give you a woman, I will."

His chances of winning now are just barely above zero.

Reports claim he only met her ONCE before putting her just a heartbeat away from the highest office in the land.
More disturbing than this offchance quirk of whimsy, is McCain's long time reliance of lucky trinkets; carrying with him at times a lucky feather, lucky rabbit's foot, lucky compass, and certain denominations of coins.

Not so sure I want the decision to hit the red button depending on a random shake of the magic eight ball.

Thanks for the link.
I find the first comment especially elucidative: "They should rename Obama: Negro Clown"

Gee, any takers on who he is gonna vote for?

I thought he'd select on of the two female republican senators from Maine. Of course they don't have the "hottness" factor going for them, now giving the uneducated voters a choice of the ticket with a former beauty contestant or a knuckle-bumping preacher of change.
I can't wait for the "Entertainment Tonight" presidential poll.

MAN! I couldn't agree anyore. White liberals feel guilty for some reason and want to give to Minorities. White Republicans feel everyone is equal and should work for what they want...and that 150 was too fuckin' long ago! Democrats have been an awful party for Minorities, but because the GOP doesn't sound caring, they stick with the libs
