Which is correct "deep-seeded" or "deep-seated"?

(Definitions)

Both Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and the OED2 (Complete) agree that the correct term is "deep-seated", having its seat far beneath the surface.

"Deep-seeded" does not have an entry in either dictionary. :wink:

Reading back to this first thread and my first reaction, how could he not be proud. It's a small part of this election's history. In my opinion, it's the best use of the song, for any reason thus far. The song has a wealth of potential for it's significance and it will go on and on and on. At this point, it has a life of it's own.
