He would do better to stick his real positions (whatever they are). He is pandering to an audience who will NEVER vote for him.

After he gave a measured foreign policy speech in 07 that pretty much summated current US Policy, the right wing attack dogs falsely claimed he was going to bomb Pakistan.

That's incorrect. The Democratic party fears another 4 to 8 years of war in Iraq, where 4154 American soldiers have died and a study estimates 655,000 Iraqi's have died.

The Democratic party fears another 4 to 8 years of losses of freedoms. Bush pretty much gutted the Bill of Rights and proclaimed the Constitution to be a God damned piece of paper.

The Democratic party fears another 4 to 8 years of economic woes and high gas and food prices.

They don't fear Obama or find him dangerous. They fear 4 to 8 more years of the destruction of America.

The Democratic Party would appear to have a lot of fears.

Didn't FDR make some profound statement about fear?

I'm a Democrat and my fear is Obama as President. It scares the hell out of me.

I'm not particularly happy with any of the candidates, but I don't know how anyone could fear Obama after enduring 8 years of the current administration. Voting for another Republican is just asking to extend the misery. We need to get away from the GOP.

Taking the war and moving it to a "neutral site" where a rogue leader refused to disclose what he did with WMD's in a country the U.N. decided to play shell games with a leader that possessed weapons that could easily kill hundreds of thousands, if not millions, has kept this country safe. Our enemies, namely Al Qaeda and other Muslim extremists, have flocked to Iraq to fight our military rather than our borders to kill our civilians.

I have every freedom I did 8 years ago and so do you. Name one specific instance your freedom has been violated over the last 8 years by the president's policies.

Rick wrote:The Democratic party fears another 4 to 8 years of economic woes and high gas and food prices.

I thought the democrats said they fix this problem at the mid-term elections? Must be why their approval rating is hovering around 9%.

Most stupid people don't realize things until it's too late (most, but not all, democrats).

Bullshit. McCain has an R after his name, but he is NOTHING like George Bush.

Me and Dave and the rest of the CONSERVATIVES (not Republicans) dispise much George Bush has done. We have all stated NUMEROUS times what Bush's failing are. We can do that, you liberals can't. All we hear is how good your people were and are, and how they can do NO wrong.

McCain hammered his own party tonight, and with good reason. Democrats would NEVER do that, no matter the reason.

McCain will make an excellent President. Palin will make an excellent VP.

It's more often than not, the man in power who makes the difference. The GOP has had some of our greatest leaders. They are due for the luck of the draw about now and I'm in,.........so far. If they find out that Palin is a Transexual, I may change my mind.

I thought the democrats said they fix this problem at the mid-term elections? Must be why their approval rating is hovering around 9%.

Most stupid people don't realize things until it's too late (most, but not all, democrats).

The last 8 years have been pretty much the same as any other 8 year period...pretty good!

Taking the war to Iraq does nothing to curtail a terrorist attack on US soil. If anything it emboldens them to commit them. The war in Iraq was never about WMD.

As far as you not losing any rights, please read up on the Patriot act. The US government can now eavesdrop on your phone calls and internet activity. They can effect searches and seizures of your property and imprison you without charging you with a crime, or give you access to legal council and can hold you without probable cause, indefinitely. You're denied your first and fourth amendment rights in this instance, both of which are supposedly inalienable.

It's Congress' approval rating that's at 9%. The Democrats can't approve anything because the Republicans have them hog tied. It takes 60% to approve anything in congress and the Democrats don't control 60%. The Republicans would rather walk through hell with a gasoline covered overcoat on than approve anything the Democrats submit.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
