Um....OK.

It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you.

I'm not pissing.....you're upset cause you are a Cleveland fan, and you think Belichick screwed you over, PLUS....that got waaaaay overblown because N.E. is the class of the NFL, and people love to attack those at the top. If S.F. 49ers did it, it'd be a non-issue. Get real....

Absolutely.

What the Pats did was the football equivalent of sneaking a peek at an opponent's hand in a card game.

I just don't care for the Spanos'. I was a Stan Humphries fan and when he was lying on the ground from a career ending hit, none of the players rallied around him or did shit about it. I thought Spanos would rip into the players but there was nothing coming from him. I read the San Diego papers daily waiting for him to say something but nadda. This team should have been to at least 2 SuperBowls since then with their talent but nothing. So I call that Karma. I don't believe in Karma but I like using the expression anyway. :D

I'll type slower for you........They didn't CHEAT. They broke a rule. And they were ratted out by a guy who used to do it when HE was on the team. Like I said Holding is against the rules as well....is holding, cheating?

So by your definition......the Olympic athletes that take performance enhancing drugs are just "breaking a rule"???

I'd be willing to bet if it wasn't your team that was doing it.....you damn sure would be calling it cheating!!

Not that I care BUT

Cheating (also called gulling) is an act of lying, deception, fraud, trickery, imposture, or imposition. Cheating characteristically is employed to create an unfair advantage, usually in one's own interest, and often at the expense of others. Cheating implies the breaking of rules.

Breaking a rule is cheating numbnuts. Go look up the definition.

It gave them a distinct advantage over their opponents.

I don't care what Mangina (play on words about Mangini) did...or why he did it...that doesn't excuse the Pats from their actions.

Yes holding is cheating...hence the penalty...but it has to only change the possible outcome of just one play. The Pats cheating changed the course of games and seasons.

Pats were outed on the FIRST game of the season. Also, holding happens on EVERY play of EVERY game. And holding can be the difference in a team losing, and a team winning. Hence Giant's offensive line holding on that play were Tyree pulled a horseshoe out of his ass. While Eli Whitney was scrambling for his ill-gotten life. Wasn't called on that play and that cost N.E. the GAME...one play = game.

My Steelers kicked a little Texan ass! And did it with Big Ben only playing 3 quarters!

And now Brady is out...hmmm...I only see the Colts standing the way to another Super Bowl birth! ;)

Well ok...Chargers and Jets too...but hey...it's the beginning of the season we are all allowed to dream!
