TO...For Some Lucky Charms

Postby etcetera » Mon Sep 08, 2008 1:21 pm

Time Out...

This parody from a Journey fan has been around forever so it could've been posted here somewhen:

Lucky Charms

Lyrics:

(1st Verse)
Sitting beside you.. Here at the bar
Eating our toast one more time
Softly you whisper.. Just what I feared
Breakfast is "boring you blind"

You want moons and clovers
Balloons and pink hearts
And maybe a prize inside

(Chorus)
So now I come to you.. With LUCKY CHARMS
Pour milk inside... We'll eat them all day!
So here I am... With LUCKY CHARMS...
Hoping to see... If you'll eat them with me...
Lucky Charms

(Leprechaun solo)
"Always after me Lucky Charms! The toasted oat cereal with marshmallow surprises! Pink hearts, red balloons, orange stars, blue moons, green clovers, purple horseshoes, and rainbows!"

(2nd verse)
What are those oat things?
Leave them alone
I don't want them in my bowl
Rainbows and horseshoes... I'll make this clear
I only want MARSHMELLOWS

If that Leprechaun comes back
He wont get away
I'm making him stay

(2nd Chorus)
So now I come to you.. with LUCKY CHARMS
Pour milk inside... We'll eat them all day!
So here I am... With LUCKY CHARMS
Hoping to see.. If you'll eat them with me...
Lucky Charms

I've seen the clip before; still funny! But I do find the idea of marshmallows with breakfast cereal a little nauseating, though.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

I love Lucky Charms. Not for breakfast or with milk. But I eat them like a dry snack during the day. The thing about Lucky Charms though is it makes your shit bright green. I guess that would work on St. Patrick's Day.

I'd actually like to hear this guy singing the song correctly. I bet he'd do it well, since obviously he's got the range to do it.
I've never eaten a piece of sushi I didn't thoroughly enjoy.

What I quoted incidentally has this  :

...He certainly has!

I was a Krazy Cow Kid myself- chocolate. Except on Saturdays. then I would mix the pink ones and the chocolate ones together and eat bowl after bowl whilst watching the bugs bunny and road runner show.

Now Im 40 and into bran flakes , (havent given up the cartoons though )

Oh, fried ice cream! Damn you! I do not need to be thinking about fried ice cream right now. Especially as my freezer has gone nuts and turned my ice cream into brickbats, so I could actually make some... :D

So, if the marshmallows are crunchy, are the 'oaty things' soft and chewy?

When I was a kid I liked Count Chocula. I used to love sweet cereals when I was a kid. Lucky I still have all my original teeth (and in outstanding shape) today! When I was living in Japan, I had my mother send me a box full of stuff to eat that I couldn't get in Japan. One of the items was a box of Captain Crunch. I was hyping my then Japanese girlfriend out about all that I was expecting to get at any day. So when the box finally arrived, I brought it into the living room and started tearing it open while she stood there watching me do this with a big smile on her face. I pulled out the box of Captain Crunch first and opened it. I had her try some. She was very hesitant but only took one bitty morsal. She didn't even put the entire thing in her mouth, instead she bit a tiny piece off. She then tossed the remainder of the morsal in her hand and in Japanese called it "Dog Food" and that she felt like vomiting. Needless to say, she wasn't impressed with anything that I received in that box. Great memories though when I remember that incident.
I've never eaten a piece of sushi I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
