I can't read this blog from where I'm at but I'm sure
it has to do w/some assinine Steelers fans talking trash
about Brady's injury and the Patriots, right???

Come on, don't lump "ALL of us Steelers Fans" into the category
of senseless goons just because of these bozos

I'm a die hard but would NEVER wish this on any team.

My thoughts on it?
Look at what Pittsburgh did in the 2004-2005 season:
Big Ben took over in the second week as a rookie and,
because he was surrounded by an outstanding "Team", they went
15-1...

This season is FAR from over for the Pats. The Coach is a genius
and this is STILL an outstanding "Team" that could make it easy
for any QB to win with, especially one that has been in the system
for 4 years

But enuff niceties...
I hope the Steel Curtain leaves Anderson on the ground busted and beaten
adn that Fast Willie Parker has a career day this coming Sunday!!!

I love the Steelers and the city of Pittsburgh. This in no way reflects the average Pittsburgh sports fan...now, if it were a Philadelphia fan, on the other hand...just kidding. Kinda.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

I am proud to say that I'm a Steelers Fan and also proud that I would never!! condone something like this. JFB, you should remember that my first reaction was that I hate to see anyone go out like that, regardless of my feelings about the team. All Steelers fans should not be lumped in with this Idiot.

Carry on!

Whether or not it "reflects the average Pittsburgh sports fan" or not, it's still beyond classless! The fact that this t-shirt is for sale on a Pittsburgh Steeler fan website is DISGRACEFUL. This story actually made the local news in Boston, and really doesn't paint the city of Pittsburgh or its fans in the most favorable light. I will grant you that there are dirtbag fans in EVERY city (including Boston), but if I ever came across something like this on a Boston fan website, I would be outraged. Taking pleasure in ANY athlete's injury is disgusting! I've seen Eagles' fans cheer an injury (don't remember the player, but it just happened last season), and as a sports fan, in general, it just disappoints me when I see something like this. I hate the Steelers and their bush league fans, but took zero pleasure when Roethlisberger dumped his motorcycle and nearly ruined his career!

I'm not a Steelers (or Yankees) fan, but I'd just like to remind you....

It's.....a.....T-shirt...

I'm glad you've got such important things to get indignant about. So I'm sure you get up in the face of people who wear "F*ck the Yankees" shirts at Fenway, too, right? Because that's the epitome of class.

Listen fuckhead...

If you can't tell the difference between good-natured ribbing (i.e. fuck the Yankees or fuck the Red Sox) versus taking pleasure out of a guy who has to have his knee reconstructed, than I can't help you. Perhaps when your brain cells start firing on all cylinders, the difference between the two scenarios will be a bit more lucid to you.

Exactly. Football is a vicious game and if you want to run around like a jerk with a silly t-shirt on more power to ya!!! I find the surprise and outrage that someone is acting like an idiot far more disturbing than the idiot himself!!!

I gotta' tell ya', I take no pleasure in Brady getting injured, but I'm taking an INSANE amount of pleasure over how much your panties are getting twisted about a friggin' T-shirt. :D 8) :P :D   :P :) :D

Oh pleeeeeeeze! I don't know of a single diehard Steeler fan who would condone this sort of thing - not a single one! What do you want the decent Steeler fans to do - hunt down this person and lynch them? Freedom of speech, you know. A discerning, reasonably intelligent individual wouldn't pay attention to this rubbish anyway.

This sounds like the righteous indignation of Rich Meyers (Ecliptic Journey) from Back Talk.

Normally I don't dig Stillas fans in general but I get a boot in the ass out of the shirt.

Now, we all love Johnno here but let's face it: New England fans are the most obnoxious, arrogant bunch in the sports world and people snicker when they seemingly fall on hard times.

Just so I'm clear JoePa...I have ZERO issue with anyone being happy that the Patriots are an afterthought this season. I have spent my entire life cheering for ANY team to beat the Yankees, because I despise them so much. The issue I have is finding enjoyment over a very serious injury. I can honestly say that I've NEVER celebrated ANY players injury...not even a Yankees player!

True, Stillas fans are a rough bunch, and unfortunately I could EASILY see some Eagles dopes doing shit like this too and giving us all another black eye.

Now..too all who have a problem with this..welcome to the world of sports...and to the art of the 12th man. The Fans. Fans do this shit everyday and it's kind of their job to acknowledge such a thing...and it was BOUND to happen. Esp. to a team of victim like the media darling New England Patriots. Step aside everyone and let John from Boston clean the sand out of his vagina. Honestly, why do whiny ass fans of certain whiny ass teams have to be such pussies about things? Shit, football is supposed to be a tough game anyways...with tough fans! Get over it and go cry to your mommy.

Before you get your new Victoria Secrets panties all up in a bunch... make sure you wipe your mouth out with soap and make sure your OWN team has no record of having any skeletons in the closet. OK, we get it, fans will be fans and certain fans will react this way.. AND IT'S DAMN FUNNY! (You mean to tell me Red Sox fans holding up faces of Madonna in the first row during a Yankee game while A-Rod on deck wasn't classless? What about other NFL teams jumping over the fact of Roethlisberger totaling his motorcycle and people coming out with "Crashlisberger" t-shirts with a wrecked motorcycle on front? And we're talking about someones life!! not an injury that occurs every day/year in sports where one can recover from.) Oakland Raiders fans take it as far as beatings and rape regarding the outcome of the game itself, and you're bitching about a t-shirt?

Now..if you want to talk about classless..lets not talk about the fans. (For the record, we all know New England fans have the most arrogant and whiny ass prick fans in the business) Lets talk about an organization. Yes. New England's organization. The organization who CHEATED and got CAUGHT violating NFL RULES! Yes. The same team who's "Hall of Fame" coach couldn't give a HAND SHAKE to the Superbowl winning coach in Tom Coughlin of the New York Giants after running up scores in the 4th qrt after being up by a margin of sometimes 30!! (If you ask me, Classy is to take a knee out of respect for the other organization your going up against...and the Steelers took it every time!) You have 0 room to talk after your teams actions this past year.. PERIOD!

This thread is class-less and stupid.

Oh yeah, BTW...way to lose the Superbowl Mr. 18-1.

Hey, my Raiders are going to suck til Big Al kicks the bucket. I can deal with that. I'll talk about your overhyped Penguins and Crosby all I like.
BTW did you see that retarded commercial on NHL network with that clown in the Crosby jersey cheering as his teams getting their asses kicked in the Finals? Too funny. Bettman's trying to sell the league on losers instead of the Champs.

Stick to hockey.

Hey, my Raiders are going to suck til Big Al kicks the bucket. I can deal with that. I'll talk about your overhyped Penguins and Crosby all I like.
BTW did you see that retarded commercial on NHL network with that clown in the Crosby jersey as his teams getting their asses kicked in the Finals? Too funny. Bettman's trying to sell the league on losers instead of the Champs.

I'll give you that. We did get busted up in the finals. RESPECTIVELY.
