Hey Dan,

While I agree that they need to leave Palin's daughter alone...I've gotta speak my mind about this pastor... 1st, what kind of pastor passes judgement on others, calling their mothers "trash", or their fathers "pathetic alcoholic loosers"? As much as I disagree with ALL that is O'bama, I can't agree with the tactics of this "Pastor".

That's whats wrong with the churches these days... apparently ANYONE (Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, and even this moron) can call themselves "pastors". Pastors (at least where I come from) aren't there to cast judgement on anyone. They're there to help with prayers, be humble servants, lead people to Christ, and serve the calling of God. Maybe I'm just crazy, but I find this guy WAY off base! :?

It is not Jesus's way to trash Obama's mother in defense of Palin's daughter. His motto was "Neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more." This man is casting stones, I wonder if he has any sins in his life he would like dragged across the internet. Let's stick to the issues.

I went to one a few times as a little girl with my Mother when we lived in Louisville, KY. Very loud, and kind of scary... then again, I was raised Methodist, so just about any other kind of church is gonna scare me!!
...But it's like being at a Pentecostal Holiness church in the south, if anyone has ever had that experience. Or a backwater Primitive Baptist church.

This guy reminds me a lot of Rev. Wright..whew, what a hate preacher that guy is.

But hey, maybe I have found my calling..a preacher! I mean, look where that guy is today..his ex-congregation bought him a BIG house in a gated community..I could deal wif dat! :D

Which is exactly why I have a moral problem with anyone that votes for Obama. How could he sit in a church and listen to the racist vitriol served by Jeremiah Wright for over 20 years and not deem anything wrong with said sermons? Not only that, but he liked what the man was saying so much that he had the guy marry him!!! I honestly feel that anyone that votes for Obama knowing this is condoning "racism" and is turning their backs on America in a treason-like fashion. Couple his following of Wright with his wife's comments and you have a man that hates this country...period. That is the only logical deduction one can take from the man's actions. He's been mentored by very, very evil people. His ties to Bill Ayers and Wright are proof positive of this. America had better wake up.

He claims that he never heard Wright say those things. I find that hard to believe. 20+ years in that church and he NEVER heard him say those kinds of things. Yeah, right.

I've been to a couple of different Pentecostal churches...It's not for me, that's for sure.

I certainly have never been nor ever want to go to a "primitive" Baptist church. They teach that Jesus only died for certain predestined people and not for all of mankind as the Bible actually teaches.

And to that I say if you're "predestined" (which is bullpiss) and only a few people, what was the point in the dying? Logic, people. Primitives scare me, actually... I got my start in radio on a 5000 watt AM gospel station and on Sundays we'd have different preachers coming in to sermon for a half hour at a time. One was primitive baptist. He never ever bathed and I'd always leave the studio once I put him on the air b/c he shouted SO loud. His mic was usually potted wayyy low. Not my style, kthx.

I actually ended up in a bible study like that once, where that is exactly what they taught. It was supposed to be interdenominational, but it didn't feel that way. That idea was so foreign to me that it actually shocked me. That if you work hard to get someone on the right path, and they don't follow, then it may mean that God hasn't chosen them for heaven anyway. So it may be beyond your control. I did finish the whole book we were studying and never went back. I only stayed to learn more about what others think and believe, and in a lot of ways I found it sad.
