Sammy Hagar's upcoming album, Cosmic Universal Fashion, will be released on November 18th through the new label Loud & Proud, and features guest appearances by the Cult's Billy Duffy and Matt Sorum, and fellow Van Halen bandmate Michael Anthony.

Billboard reported that the album's title song was written online with an Iraqi fan named Steven Lost. The song's video references Van Halen's 1991 song and video "Right Now." Hagar also covers the Beastie Boys' "Fight For Your Right To Party."

I've heard the 2 Planet Us tracks....very heavy and not at all commercial rock tracks.

They were Peephole (as indicated above) and Vertigo. If Sammy has recorded both, it shows an interesting decision...not as many "new" tunes on the album (what's that last track?? and also the Beestie Boys cover...)

To rename the song "Psycho Vertigo" could suggest it has undergone a style change. Puzzling to say the least. What happened to Sammy's beach party style from the last album??

And what's with the almost techno-style of the lead single??

What the hell happened to Sammy's straight ahead rock style from "Not for Sale"? I love that cd, it's the best since "Standing Hampton".

There was a boot floating around here once of the radio performance Planet US did. I think they did both Peephole & Vertigo. They seemed very heavy...almost a dark bluesy jam of sorts.

I'm with you. SH is Sammy's best work. If you haven't bought Not 4 Sale do it, you will not be disappointed.
