I can remember liking a lot of things when I was younger (some of them favorites of folks here). As I got older, it was like "God, this music is so.... WHITE". I couldn't listen to it any longer and quit buying records by a few bands that I was very into.

So white? Like who? Come on, spill it.

nah...

Madonna. When she hit MTV with "Borderline" I was all over that like white on rice, but now if I hear a Madonna song I'll switch stations. Maybe it's media fatigue from seeing her mug splashed all over the place.

I think I am pretty much over Journey at this point in my life. I am seeing them next weekend, but it will likely be my last show. I can't really explain why... they just don't grab me anymore.

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I even remember taking her to a concert. Actually it was better than I thought it would be, a couple of them are fairly decent singers........entertaining show. Well, what you could hear of it over all the squealing. She played it so much......that I actually got to like a few of their songs.......sue me.

LMAO!! SO did not pick you for country boy!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Well I seem to get tired of genres and then fall back into them years later. I listened to hip hop/R&B in early high school, and now I'm starting to get back into it. And I'm getting over classic rock a bit.

You know, I was always an NSync girl... Justin pre-Thuglet was *ohsocute*. Pin-ups all over the walls... such a dork. But I loovveedd BSB's songs. I youtubed a few of the videos last night and was jamming like nobody's business. That song you posted they played at my 8th grade spring formal. Holy wow... which got me to remembering songs like soulDecision's "Faded", and LFO's Abercrombie & Fitch song... which was pretty much the ONLY reason A&F got huge where I'm from. And 5ive's "When the Lights Go Out". Crap. I'm feeling old today. :(
