Holy shit he sounded rough in that take! I wonder if we'll ever see him after this tour? I'm a HUGE Arnel fan as most of you know, and I'm not saying this to diss him in any way. Seriously, this tour is taking a toll on him...and not just physically. He wants to go home in a BAD way!

I really do wonder if this is it for him? I seriously hope not! Hopefully, they'll take a few months off, get back into the studio, and then tour again...don't see it happening at this point, but I guess we'll see soon enough.
The artist formerly known as Jim. :-)

He still sounds amazing after all the shows he's done. What I find remarkable is how powerful his voice is. It's been a grueling tour, not many people could have held up as well as he has. He's doing great, but I bet he'll be glad when he can rest.

Please how is this "a grueling tour"? This a normal tour for every band. At least this band is not playing every day like the 80's. it's a 3 month tour with days off. restart the tour early Nov.

It's a fact that Journey songs are one if not the hardest catalogues of music to sing. That makes it grueling.

I agree. This is not a "normal" band with a "normal" catalogue. He's doing a helluva job on it. The guy's got my respect.

3/4 of it sounded fine. 1/4 of it sucked for air. His high notes are getting about as bad as Augeri's got, after his throat went south. Dude needs a rest before his pipes are blown, too.
If the drunk singing along with the band is any indication of the fans reviewing performances, then I can see why they think it's the greatest thing since....uh.....BEER.

LOL, but that's Canadian beer. :P But I agree, if the guy was going to film it.....shut his mouth and hold the camera still. Also agree on most of it sounding fine. I thought he sounded pretty good for just coming off being sick enough to cancel the show before it.
