Wish I'd dumped the boyfriend I had when I was 28 a week after meeting him instead of a year later!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

I wish I'd snapped up that lead keytar position offered to me by A Flock of Seagulls back in '85!
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

I wish I would have stayed in Erie PA after college instead of moving back to redneck country with my parents in the middle nowhere. Then I wouldn't be working in a shitty factory. I've had enough of the "redneck and proud of it" attitude here. I swear to god I'm the only sophisticated person around here. :?

I wish I could take back the $700 I spent on a dress for a New Year's Eve event and never wore again.

Not a thing. All of it--shit, slime, & pain as well as the really wonderful stuff--needed to be lived through to get to where I am today ... which is a pretty good place. :D

I wish I could take back how I answered my work phone yesterday....thought it was an out-of-town friend who is having problems with her boyfriend's evil spawn child....I glanced at the caller ID, and thought the area code looked familiar, so I answered the phone by saying "I'd kill the little f*cker too if it was me." The person on the other end started laughing, and said that's what her boss says all the time, and she started laughing again. Long story short, it WASN'T my friend, but it was someone down in our Pasadena regional office calling for someone else in our office.  Needless to say my face turned about 50 shades of red, and I apologized profusely, but luckily the person had a great sense of humor. WHEW!

Actually, no! I'm too damn old to be going to concerts, so I actually bought that POS! If I had gotten it for free, I still would have been pissed off, but having to pay for it REALLY pissed me off! At least I found a use for it. It's made a reasonable coaster and has protected my office desk from coffee stains
