Very sad to hear. I was just telling someone the other day how fantastic he was in one of my favorite movies, Message In A Bottle.

So sad, but he lived a great life. I loved him in Absence of Malice.

The man was so much more than a gifted actor. The world was better for his having been a part of it. Hopefully his family and friends will not grieve too long.

Well said! I couldn't agree more.

As someone who's been involved with acting for the better part of the last 25 years, Newman was a constant inspiration, not only in the craft, but outside of it too.

There will simply never be another one like him.

And if you've never seen BUTCH CASSIDY or THE STING (or if it's been awhile) , do yourself a favor and rent them this weekend.

Newman led the kind of life and left the kind of legacy most people would LOVE to have.

Rest easy!
